Handspun handwoven eri silk, vegetable dyed in a lovely shade of aubergine in a twill weave. The monochrome saree celebrates yarn, dye and weave sans motif. Pairs beautifully with both formal and casual blouses. The heft of the fabric makes it perfect for cooler seasons. From the spinning of the yarn to the weaving of the fabric, no mechanised machine is used in the making of this saree. At 5.1 x 1m, this is a petite saree for those below 5’3″. Note: Blouse piece not included.
